The Modern Red SchoolHouse Team has years of experience in the academic and educational fields. We have a number of senior educators who want to help struggling schools, many with advanced degrees in the areas in which they provide support. On average, our consultants providing support to schools implementing the MRSH approach have over 20 years of experience as teachers and school administrators. More often than not, these experienced educators have had the opportunity to become experts in specific fields—such as classroom management, school leadership, instructional strategies, or working with students with disabilities or limited English skills.

| Dr. Sally B. Kilgore, President & Chief Executive Officer |

 Dr. Kilgore, with a doctorate in sociology from the University of Chicago and undergraduate degree from Baylor University, has published extensively on the organization of schooling and achievement. Her work has appeared in leading scholarly journals, including the American Sociological Review, Harvard Education Review, and Sociology of Education. In the early 1980's, she co-authored High School Achievement with Thomas Hoffer and the noted scholar, James S. Coleman. Dr. Kilgore has served on the editorial boards of the American Education Research Journal, Sociology of Education, and Review of Research in Education. She served on the advisory board for the National Center for Education Statistics for almost a decade and currently serves on the technical advisory panel for the Education Longitudinal Study at the U.S. Department of Education.
Between 1986 and 1988, Dr. Kilgore served as Director of the Office of Research for the U.S. Department of Education. Her other administrative roles include co-principal investigator of a National Science Foundation study of mathematics and science achievement and associate vice-president for research and advanced studies at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Kilgore served on the faculties of Emory University, University of Cincinnati, and Huston-Tillotson College, where she was chairman of the sociology department.
Dr. Kilgore currently serves on the MRSH Task Forces for Leadership and Module Development, and served on the Reading Module Task Force.

| Donna J. Roberts, Vice President for Operations |

 Ms. Roberts oversees daily business activities of the MRSH Institute, including her roles as human resources director, benefits administrator, and contracts administrator. Ms. Roberts has over seventeen years experience in accounting management, facilities management, managing start-up phases, office staffing, human resources, job-costing, computer networking, and troubleshooting.
She currently serves on the MRSH Leadership Task Force. |

| Verdelle Bowie, Vice President for Business Development and Sales |

 Verdelle Bowie comes to MRSH from Educational Testing Service (ETS), where she most recently served as a National Accounts Manager. During her tenure at ETS, she also held positions including financial aid assistant, lead testing analyst, and project manager and was instrumental in the development and administration of a variety of products and services of the student financial aid processing systems. She provided training and presentations to many higher education institutions including a concentration on Historically Black Colleges. Ms. Bowie received her BS in education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. |
