Ms. Williams has been a member of the Modern Red SchoolHouse team since its beginnings. As a teacher in one of MRSH’s pilot schools, she has been part of the growth and development of the Institute. Working in over a dozen states, her trainings have focused upon the areas of curriculum development, differentiated instruction, instructional strategies, model teaching, and creating effective learning environments. Ms. Williams has presented at national conferences including Core Knowledge, National Association for the Education of Young Children, National Indian Association, and IMSeries. She also has been a member of the faculty of Indiana Wesleyan University, where she taught English composition classes. Ms. Williams holds an M.A. in elementary education from Indiana University and has done post-graduate work at the University of Connecticut. She has been a classroom teacher for more than 25 years, teaching kindergarten through grade six and special education; currently, she is a teacher in grades four, five, and six in Columbus, Indiana. |
