| Genie DePolo, Field Site Manager |

Genie DePolo, Site Manager for the east coast, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and sociology; a Master of Science in recreation; and a Master of Science in special education from the Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York. She has also received a Professional Diploma in Supervision and Administration from the College of New Rochelle. Ms. DePolo brings over 15 years special education, administrative, and higher education leadership to the Modern Red SchoolHouse Institute. In addition to her experience as an Assistant Principal of Special Education, a Dean of Special Education, a classroom teacher, and a curriculum developer for the New York City Board of Education, Ms. DePolo serves as Adjunct Instructor at Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry and the Bronx, New York, providing courses in the History of Education in America, Special Education Pedagogical Strategies, and Special Education from the Federal and State Perspective. Ms. DePolo's expertise in the Modern Red SchoolHouse approach was honed as a member of the MRSH National Faculty and in her role as the MRSH Site Coordinator at Hansberry Middle School in the Bronx. |

Ms. Edwards was employed with the Detroit Public Schools for 30 years. She served as principal of Katherine B. White Elementary prior to her retirement. This school was involved in the MRSH reform model. Ms. Edwards has teaching experience at all levels of elementary school. She received her Bachelor's degree from Wayne State University, Master's degree from Oakland University, and Education Specialist degree in administration from Michigan State University. |

Dr. Faber has 12 years experience teaching English at the high school level, six years experience as an Associate Principal in a high school and as a Principal of a middle school, and three years experience as Assistant Superintendent/Middle School Facilitator and as Coordinator of Leadership Training in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also has seven years experience teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Belmont Abbey College and at the University of North Carolina, and eight years experience as a member of the Adjunct Graduate Faculty at other colleges and universities in North Carolina and Virginia. Dr. Faber has been published extensively in the area of middle school curriculum and instruction, and her work has appeared in the Georgia Middle School Association Monograph, The Michigan Middle School Journal, and many other journals. She has participated in numerous consultative projects around the country and been invited as keynote speaker and presenter to Region One Education Service Center and the National Middle School Association Conference. Dr. Faber earned her Ed.D. in educational leadership and supervision with collateral studies in curriculum and instruction from University of Virginia. She received her M.A. in education with concentrations in education management and curriculum and instruction from University of Texas, and earned her B.S.E. in English and education from Midwestern State University. |

Ms. Kozinn received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master's degrees from the University of Florida. She has taught in the elementary school setting in New York City and Florida. Ms. Kozinn gained experience with the MRSH approach as a teacher in a MRSH site where she served as chairperson of the curriculum task force, as well as serving on the technology and discipline task forces. She recently chaired the MRSH Reading Modules Task Force, which led to the successful development of several reading modules aligned with NCLB’s Reading First initiative.

| Anne Mitchell, Field Site Manager |

Ms. Mitchell retired from the Metro Nashville Davidson County School System in May, 2003. During her tenure with Metro Nashville public schools, she taught grades 5-6 reading and math for the first 11 years of her professional life, served as an elementary school principal for four and a half years, and as an assistant principal in another elementary school for three and a half years. She worked as a systemwide facilitator for the Chapter 1/Title I programs from 1988 through June, 1995. Program development and compliance were Ms. Mitchell's areas of focus in her six years as a Tennessee Department of Education Consultant for Federal Programs. Ms. Mitchell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and completed graduate work at Middle Tennessee State University (Master's in Reading) and the University of Memphis and Tennessee State University (endorsement in Supervision and Administration). Ms. Mitchell currently serves on the MRSH Leadership Task Force. |

| Dr. Fred Reeves, Field Site Manager |

Dr. Reeves has six years of social studies and English secondary classroom experience and 19 years as principal at both the high school and middle school levels. His most recent position was with the Owensboro-Davies County Chamber of Commerce as Executive Vice-President. He has done extensive consulting work in Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Illinois, and Missouri public schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in history with minors in chemistry and military science, a Master of Arts in Education Administration from Western Kentucky University, a Rank I in Education Administration from Western Kentucky University, and a Doctorate of Education in General Administrative Leadership from Vanderbilt University. He currently serves on the MRSH Leadership Task Force. |
