Candidates interested in a position as a member of our National Faculty must have expertise in at least two of these areas:
- Mathematics
- Literacy
- Curriculum
- Standards and assessment
- The change process (MBTI certification required)
- Principal coaching
- Content-area coaching, particularly math and literacy
- Community and parent involvement
- Differentiating instruction
- Standards-based instructional strategies
Applicants must have experience sharing the above expertise with other education professionals—particularly teachers—through staff development, in-service training, and/or consulting work. Applicants should have recent direct classroom or school experience, a Master's degree in an education-related field, and an understanding of the challenges of change. They should be available to work for MRSH approximately 30 days a year.
